About Vancouver Scalp:
Vancouver Scalp Micropigmentation is owned and operated by tattoo artist Billy DeCola.
Billy started his tattoo career at the world famous Miami Ink Tattoo Studio in Miami Beach where apprenticed under world renowned artist and close friend Ami James. The two later appeared on TLC’s hit reality TV series ‘NY Ink’ which was filmed at Wooster Street Social Club in NYC and aired in 186 countries worldwide.
When the show was a wrap Billy moved to Vancouver, B.C. where he now calls home. In 2004 he opened his own studio, Studio Kiku, where he offers traditional body tattoos, scalp micropigmentation for men and women, SMP training and laser tattoo removal services.
Vancouver Scalp specializes in SMP for men & women suffering from hair loss, thinning, scarring, Alopecia and fixing botched SMP procedures.
The studio is licensed & insured and is by appointment only so you can expect to receive our undivided attention during your consultation and SMP procedures.
Billy was among the first SMP specialists to deliver scalp micropigmentation treatments in Japan, the United States and Canada. He’s treated countless clients suffering from hair loss, thinning, scarring, alopecia and botched SMP jobs.
Billy was also one of the first to offer SMP training in Vancouver. He has trained and mentored a number of international & local artists who have sought out Billy for his extensive tattoo experience.
Many of Billy’s former students have moved on to open successful SMP clinics and have even started offering their own SMP training programs.
